Bodhi Simpson is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Maine and a Registered Art Therapist with the Art Therapy Credentialing Board. She earned her graduate degree in Clinical Art Therapy at Springfield College. She currently serves as the President of the Maine Mental Health Counselors Association. She also provide supervision for art therapists in Maine working toward their ATR certification.
Bodhi’s practice encompasses an integrative approach combining creative arts therapies, positive psychology, humanistic psychology, cognitive behavorial therapy, energy psychology, transpersonal & spiritual psychology, mindfulness, and guided vizualization, as well as various other modalities. She is able to work with individuals to help them discover the method of expression that feels most comfortable.
She provides individual and group sessions, workshops, trainings, and retreats that incorporate creative expression and work with imagination, intuition and metaphor. Her specialties include self-discovery & personal growth, trauma, grief & loss, adoption related issues, depression, anxiety, and assisting highly sensitive people.
In addition to her work, Bodhi is always seeking ways to enhance her own creativity, personal growth, intuition and spiritual development. She derives great joy from spending connected time with her family. Being creative in some form every single day helps her to create balance. She also has a deep interest in consciousness, energy, neurobiology, and quantum physics.
