Scroll down to register

As Portland is one of the most diverse communities in Maine, what targeted prevention activities are happening to prevent early substance use and misuse within New Mainer communities and how can we build partnerships among New Mainers and public health officials? In this forum, we hope to learn more about the work that New Mainers are doing to promote prevention and public health and learn what training and workforce development can be implemented to support and build capacity within those communities. This forum will bring together prevention specialists, public health officials, coalition members and community leaders from non-New Mainer and New Mainers to explore what we are doing, what is needed and possible steps we can take together to support one another.
