Pat McKenzie

Pat McKenzie is an advocate for the advancement of peer services and the promotion of lived experience as an essential element in recovery oriented mental health services in Maine. She is also a licensed clinical social worker with an advanced certificate of study in individual, couples, and family therapy. Currently, Pat serves as the Administrator of Outpatient Services at Kennebec Behavioral Health in Augusta. She has a passion for and a commitment to collaborative models that embrace the creating partnerships between “provider and client” in a person-centered approach to service. Intentional Peer Support through the work of Shery Mead and the work of Intentional Peer Support Specialists have continually inspired her to push the envelope of “traditional” clinical practice and open space for peer and provider partnerships that support wellness and personal discovery.
