Learn about various clinical applications in which inpatient pharmacies improve patient care and opioid medication safety. Within the realms of medication reconciliation, pain management, substance use disorder, and end of life, we will discuss pharmacotherapy pearls and medication safety best practices, including inpatient pharmacy utilization of the Prescription Monitoring Program.

Presenter
Whitney Jandreau, PharmD, EMMC
Whitney Jandreau, PharmD, BCPS is an Internal Medicine Clinical Pharmacist Specialist and Coordinator of pharmacy student programs and preceptor at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center. Her practice experience includes a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at VA Maine Healthcare System followed by 7 years of inpatient practice. Whitney is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS) with a clinical passion for substance use disorder.
