Effective Implementation of Evidence-Based Practices 101 for CCBHCs
This webinar will go over the importance of implementing evidence-based programs (EBPs), how to use implementation frameworks and tools, helpful methods for measuring readiness, and how to apply continuous quality improvement processes to practice. The session will include opportunity for questions and discussion. Participants will leave with numerous resources that will help them implement EBPs using implementation science. This webinar has been planned for prospective CCBHC leaders, administrators, and staff in Maine and is open to anyone interested in learning more about implementing EBPs.
Presenters: Angela Weeks, MPA, DBA, & Jill Farrell, PhD, UConn Innovations Institute
Angela Weeks, MPA, DBA, is Director of the National SOGIE Center at Innovations Institute, University of Connecticut School of Social Work. She brings extensive national experience creating, implementing, and evaluating programs and initiatives that improve the lives of LGBTQ+ people and communities. She has led development of LGBTQ+ trainings and tools, policy revisions, and quality learning collaboratives. Through the SOGIE Center, she has helped develop, implement, and evaluate 15 different programs and initiatives for LGBTQ+ people, their families, and the workforce that serves them.
Jill Farrell, PhD, is a Research Scientist at Innovations Institute, University of Connecticut School of Social Work. Dr. Farrell’s background and research interests concentrate on improving experiences and outcomes for youth involved with child- and family-serving systems, particularly the juvenile justice and child welfare systems. Dr. Farrell has served as a lead evaluator for many programs implemented with children, youth, and families, employing experimental and quasi-experimental designs.
