A collaboration between the University of New England, Maine Department of Corrections, and CCSME | 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

 

Description

This informative and interactive presentation is open to community health and behavioral health professionals and stakehodlers,  interprofessional UNE health professions students, and UNE  faculty and staff. A panel presentation, breakouts, and case study analyses will inform the audience about the health and health care delivery in Maine’s correctional facilities including for the aging population in need of assisted living and hospice care.

You will be able to:

Review corrections health
Describe aging in corrections
Discuss the Assisted Living Unit in Charleston
