Description:  Multiple enhancements to the Maine PMP in 2022 will further its mission “to promote the public health and welfare and to detect and prevent substance misuse.”  Tune in to learn about PMP tools to enhance patient safety and how to ensure documentation of your compliance with the 2016 Chapter 488 law.  Dr. Mock has been serving as the Clinical and Policy Advisor to the PMP since January 2022.

About the Presenter

Elisabeth Fowlie Mock, MD, MPH, FAAFP Dr. Mock received her doctorate from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and a Master of Public Health in Health Policy and Administration from UNC-Chapel Hill.  She also attended Colby College and Emory University. She is Board Certified in Family Medicine and Addiction Medicine.  She works primarily as a consultant and clinical educator with per diem hospitalist and buprenorphine clinic shifts.  Interests include women’s basketball, chess, Toastmasters and she is a certified basketball referee.  She lives in Bangor, Maine with her husband and 2 pandemic pups now that her 3 kids are in their peri-college years.
