Description:
Join members of Queercovery, an organization that creates opportunities for Queer people to find support, access resources and build community as they navigate their recovery journey, to learn how to best meet the needs of LGBTQIA+ patients with SUD. The panelists will share insights and guidance on how clinicians and their teams can support Queer patients.
Learning Objectives:
- Participants will learn how to make their practice welcoming to patients in the LGBTQIA+ community with SUD
- Participants will explore the unique needs of patients with diverse gender and sexual identities
- Participants will learn techniques to better serve their LGBTQIA+ patients
