This presentation will summarize what we know – don’t know – about the prevalence of suicide death and suicide attempts in LGBTQ populations across the lifespan, as well as the risk and protective factors for LGBTQ suicidal behavior. Key knowledge gaps will be identified and discussed, and specific strategies will be outlined for applying current knowledge to prevent LGBTQ suicidal behavior at the national, state and community levels.
