– Contrast traditional and emerging methadone initiation and re-start practices
Presenter: David Lawrence, MD, FASAM
- David Lawrence, MD FASAM is an internist and addiction medicine physician with nearly a decade of experience working as a clinician educator and health-systems leader. Through a practice grounded in the principles of motivational interviewing and harm reduction, David is passionate about improving the quality of life for people who use substances. In his work as an educator with multidisciplinary learners and health-systems leader, he strives to empower teams to confidently deliver high quality, evidence-based, and compassionate care to people who use substances.
