Online Course Evaluation – How it works:

1. Scroll down to Lesson 1 in Course Content and click on Course Evaluation – Data Collection: Assessing the Complex Patient
2. After you complete and submit the evaluation, return here and click the Mark Complete button. You will be able to download and print your certificate. The certificate will also be emailed to you as a PDF.

The presentation explored how to assess and use evidence based resources and tools to begin to identify the interrelations between SUD and psychiatric conditions to direct treatment approaches. Interactive case studies were used for discussion.

1. Identify ways that SUD can mimic functional psychiatric conditions.
2. Complete an HPI with a focus on the reasons that brought the patient to seek treatment.
