Bio | Georgana Prudhomme, LCSW

Upon completion of her Masters in Social Work from Louisiana State University, Georgana has worked in the field of social services for 30 years in varying roles within the corporate industry and non-profits. Currently Georgana works at Kennebec Behavioral Health as the Clinical Training and Quality Manager where she oversees several agency wide projects and is focused on enhancing the internal trainings at KBH. When the State of Maine DDHS worked on implementing MaineCare Managed Care, Georgana was the Clinical Administrator for the Adult Services implementation plans. In the past Georgana has served in such roles as expert court room testifier; Director of intake and outpatient services; managed State Substance Use contract as well as Federal Probation; managed EAP contracts and services; Directed outpatient and intensive outpatient services for substance use and co-occurring agency services; Person Centered Planning; and has held management services in managed care companies. Georgana’s clinical expertise encompasses trauma services including direct service and EMDR training; Substance Use Disorder; Mood and Anxiety Disorders; LGBTG services; Somatic Body Work; yoga and meditation; and overall quality improvement services. Georgana is passionate about the clinical quality of services provided to all customers and consumers to ensure the delivery of care meets the client’s needs.
