Kelli earned a bachelor’s degree at Rutgers University in NJ and a master of social work degree at the University of New England in Maine. I have been teaching in higher education since 1994.

Throughout her clinical work, Kelli has learned from mentors and her own experiences to recognize the power of positive and authentic relationship to create healing and recovery for individuals and families, including very young children and adult survivors of violence.  While also employing other practice theories, Kelli believes that working from this relational framework in the context of clinical supervision, organizational leadership and change management and as an educator is invaluable and creates the basis from which learning, growth and positive change emerges.

Kelli has served the UNE community and the school of social work as faculty mentor and ‘champion’ for students to engage in interprofessional team collaboration, including the Ghana International Health Immersion. Kelli has been part of several HRSA IPE grant implementation and evaluation teams and has served as co-chair of the SSW Curriculum Committee and the WCHP Committee for Excellence in Clinical Education.
