Like many medications, Sublingual Buprenorphine has desirable therapeutic effects for patients, but undesirable side effects on patients’ mouths. This has been especially evident in recent months as a number of lawsuits have been filed, alleging that Sublingual Buprenorphine caused dental damage to patients. In this webinar, participants will review the basic elements of oral health, understand the specific effects of Sublingual Buprenorphine in the mouth, and learn practical strategies for protecting patients’ oral health while they take Sublingual Buprenorphine.

Presenters:
Kristin Bradley, DMD
Kristin Bradley DMD MPH is the Dental Clinic Manager at Red Logan Dental Clinic in White River Junction, VT. She received both her Doctor of Dental medicine and her Master of Public Health from Tufts University. She works in general practice and serves as a preceptor for fourth year dental students, holding the position of Adjunct Community-Based Faculty at the College of Dental Medicine at the University of New England.
