The recent May 2024 ASAM White Paper recommended “(p)rograms should consider applying an evidence-based framework for process improvement such as the RE-AIM framework or the NIATx model.” In this webinar, Eric Haram, LADC will examine both models and how they can be used to support evidence based SUD practices and expand MOUD. This webinar will also highlight Maine programs that have used these change management frameworks effectively.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to:

  2. Explore Maine programs that have used change management frameworks effectively
  3. Understand the importance of evidence based frameworks for change management around SUD services

How it Works

This course includes a 2-part video presentation by Eric Haram, LADC, followed by a quiz requiring a passing grade of 80% or higher. After completing the video lessons and quizzes, you will be directed to a course evaluation. Once you have completed the evaluation, you will be able to download a .pdf certificate to get your course credit.

About the Presenter

Eric Haram, LADC | Eric Haram is owner of Haram Consulting LLC, whose aim is to improve community health and safety from the impact of substance use disorders, by providing consulting and technical assistance in the areas of strategic planning, workforce development and systems improvement for States, Counties and Organizations. Eric has 30 years experience delivering, designing, and directing substance use treatment services in hospitals, correctional facilities, court systems and community behavioral health centers. Haram Consulting, LLC provides consultation in 11 states, from California to West Virginia, including his home state of Maine where he directs behavioral health services for York Hospital.


Criteria for Successful Completion

100% Attendees required to participate and be present in the full duration of the learning activity and complete/submit an evaluation form. Partial credit will not be awarded.

Contact Hours

Certificates will be issued upon completion of an online course evaluation. No partial credit will be given.

  • 1 contact hours pending approval by the Maine Board of Alcohol and Drug Counselors
  • 1 contact hours for social workers, licensed professional clinical counselors, psychologists, continuing health education specialists, and behavioral healthcare workers.
