  3. Discuss guidelines, pharmacotherapy and literature for inpatients with AWS with a focus on benzodiazepines and phenobarbital
  4. Outline the role of adjunct medications in alcohol withdrawal

Presenters:

Nicolette Centanni, Pharm D, BCPS, BCGP, BCPP

Nicolette Centanni, Pharm D, BCPS, BCGP, BCPP is a clinical pharmacist at Maine Medical Center who specializes in internal medicine and psychiatry. She works closely with the addiction medicine team to deliver the most effective and up to date care for people with substance use disorders. Some of this work includes education on treating pain in people with opioid use disorder and creating a robust order set for the inpatient initiation of buprenorphine. She lives in Portland, Maine with her partner, 2 kids, 3 dogs and 2 cats!
