In 2022 the CDC reported that Maine has the highest rate of Hepatitis C per capita of any state in the nation. Dr. Elisabeth Fowlie Mock, on behalf of the Maine Independent Clinical Information Services, will outline Hepatitis C treatment in Primary and Addiction Care settings. Participants will explore screening for and treatment of Hepatitis C. Participants will also examine treatment algorithm
Learning Objectives:
- Screen and identify patients with Hepatitis C
- Evaluate patients for Simplified Hepatitis C treatment
- Implement the Hepatitis C treatment algorithm
Presenter: Elisabeth Fowlie Mock, MD, MPH, FAAFP

- Elisabeth Fowlie Mock, MD, MPH, FAAFP, with MICIS since 2011, received her medical degree from Vanderbilt University and a Master of Public Health in Health Policy and Administration from UNC-Chapel Hill. She also attended Colby College and Emory University and is Board Certified in Family Medicine and Addiction Medicine. Her consulting work focuses on clinical education and public health aspects of the overdose crisis. She also works per diem hospitalist shifts. She lives in Bangor and enjoys travel, women’s basketball and her 3 dogs.
