Listening Session: Shaping the Future of Co-Occurring Services in Maine | Annual Membership Meeting (virtual)

$15.00

Description

Friday, December 1st, 2023 | 9:00-11:45am

Join us for a virtual listening session to discuss the future of co-occurring services in Maine. We’ll explore how Maine can advance co-occurring services across the continuum and reinforce the need for integrated services. We’ll hear keynote presentations from Randy Morrison and Dr. Ken Minkoff, and you’ll have an opportunity to make your voice heard and discuss various topics within the field of co-occurring services with your colleagues from around the state.

Agenda and Topics:

  • Keynote: Kenneth Minkoff, MD | Where Have We Been and Where Should We Be Going With Co-Occurring Services?
  • Keynote: Randy Morrison | Integration of the Peer Workforce in Co-Occurring Services
  • Listening Sessions: Exploring Our Challenges and Next Steps, covering topics including:
    • Approaches to integrated treatment
    • Licensing, models, and funding for integration
    • Continuum of care
    • Workforce competency
    • Co-occurring capability

Listening session? How does that work?! When you register, you’ll choose a breakout room to join from the topics listed above. The breakout rooms will open following the keynote presentations. In each room, a subject matter expert will give a very short introduction to the current state of that issue in Maine. A facilitator will then ask attendees for their input on what they see as the challenges and opportunities within that topic/issue. In short, we want to hear from you about what you want the future of co-occurring services to look like and how we can achieve it together!
